Rehabbing One of Our Patients?

Thank you — what you do in the months after surgery matters as much as what happens in the operating room. To make co-management easy:

  • The protocols are public. Every post-operative rehabilitation protocol Dr. Mitchell uses is published on this site — no faxing, no guessing which version is current.
  • Progression is criteria-based. The week ranges are guardrails; advance patients on demonstrated milestones — extension, effusion control, quad function, strength symmetry — and hold when criteria aren't met. If a patient is ahead of or behind the curve, that's information we want.
  • Questions about a shared patient are welcome. Reach our team through the contact form (note you're the treating PT/AT and include the patient's name and date of birth only after our team responds through a secure channel — please don't put patient health details in the initial web form).
  • Out-of-area patients: we'll walk you through the protocol at the start of care and coordinate around follow-up visits, including return-to-play testing expectations.
